SunTek Automotive Window Film

CarbonXP (CXP)

SunTek offers two product lines featuring carbon technology: the CXP Series and the Carbon Series. For enhanced performance demands and luxury vehicles, we recommend the CXP Series’ non-metal, nano-hybrid carbon technology.

No matter which series you choose to install, be confident in the tint’s ability to stand the test of time. These films are non-reflective, rich black and backed by a manufacturer’s lifetime limited warranty, including protection against change in color. Both film series block 99% of harmful UV rays.

The difference between CXP and Carbon is that CXP works harder to maintain interior vehicle comfort, with a higher level of solar energy rejection. This translates to better heat rejection which will be a priority for vehicle owners who spend more time on the road, are concerned about interior cracking and fading, or prefer to feel a more significant temperature difference after upgrading automotive glass with window tint.

Frequently
Asked
Questions

Depending on the vehicle, average time for us is about 3 hours.

We use a Roland cutting system that cuts out the film according to specific make model and year. We sometimes cut it out custom on certain vehicles depending on client preference.

Very common question believe it or not. The film is first shaped (shrank) on the outside then installed on the inside.

It’s ok to wash your car right after the film is installed, but we ask that you do not clean inside of the windows for the first week. We clean them prior to installation as well.

Depending on the temperature, and film type, curing time varies. Automotive films should be fully cured from 7-14 days. Commercial and residential films cure anywhere from 30-90 days depending on exposure and temperature. Most of the moisture will be visible from the inside looking out.

We ask that you keep the windows rolled up for at least 24 hours while the film cures.

We recommend using any glass cleaner that has no ammonia, or abrasives. A soft cotton cloth or diaper material is always recommended.

There is no film that is scratch proof, but all of our films are scratch resistant and have patented scratch coats on them.
